Investors Face September Deadline in PROCEPT BioRobotics Class Action

Investors who purchased PROCEPT BioRobotics common stock between February 28, 2024, and February 25, 2026, have until September 22, 2026, to seek lead plaintiff status in a securities fraud class action lawsuit filed in the Northern District of California.

The litigation, captioned Operating Engineers Construction Industry and Miscellaneous Pension Fund v. PROCEPT BioRobotics Corporation, centers on allegations that the medical technology company misled shareholders regarding its product demand. The complaint claims that PROCEPT utilized an undisclosed discount program to incentivize bulk orders, which artificially inflated reported sales of its Aquablation therapy handpieces.

According to the allegations, this practice created a surplus of inventory that exposed the company to hidden financial risks. The issue reached a breaking point on February 25, 2026, when the firm disclosed that handpiece sales had consistently outpaced actual procedures since early 2023. Following this revelation, PROCEPT stock dropped more than 18%. Law firm Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP is currently advising affected investors on their legal rights and recovery options, noting that there is no cost for a case evaluation.
