Barron McCann secures major retail support contract with Entain

Retail technology specialist Barron McCann has signed a three-year deal to manage infrastructure and engineering support for more than 2,000 Ladbrokes and Coral betting shops across the UK. The agreement secures critical maintenance for Entain’s high street estate, including a four-hour hardware fix guarantee for the company's digital retail terminals.

The contract follows a competitive tender process that saw Barron McCann selected over several major IT manufacturers. Entain officials highlighted the provider's focus on circular asset management, specifically noting their use of custom 3D printing to repair legacy hardware. By performing component-level fixes rather than replacing entire terminals, the firm aims to reduce Entain’s total cost of ownership while supporting sustainable repair supply chains.

Operational integration between the two companies includes a direct platform link that automates real-time fault logging and resource scheduling. This system allows Entain’s central tech teams to coordinate instantly with Barron McCann’s field engineers. To prepare for the rollout, the service provider conducted extensive technical training at its Derby Academy, ensuring staff mastered Entain’s unique hardware configurations before the project went live during the FIFA World Cup period.
