The event saw the distribution of more than 350 backpacks stocked with essential school supplies, a move aimed at easing the financial burden on local households. Attendees were joined by Fletcher's Corny Dogs and the Mr. Sugar Rush ice cream truck, cementing the location's first major community engagement since the merger finalized earlier this year.
Kevin Scott, Senior Vice President at Texans Credit Union and former CEO of Las Colinas, highlighted the continuity of the branch's mission. He noted that the transition maintains the institution's long-standing focus on prioritizing member needs and local support. This Irving site is one of three locations to undergo rebranding following the merger, granting members access to a broader network of 14 North Texas branches and upgraded digital banking infrastructure.
