This rollout follows the platform’s successful entry into the Jersey market earlier this June. According to Greg Deacon, VP at Snappy Shopper, the expansion represents a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to provide convenient, on-demand services to island communities. The service is designed to support a broad range of users, from busy professionals to those unable to visit physical store locations.
Laura Gordon, Chief Growth Officer at Alliance Supermarket, noted that the digital move is a direct response to customer demand for more flexible shopping options. The partnership aims to enhance the existing retail experience by prioritizing accessibility and convenience. Moving forward, the companies intend to broaden the available product range to further integrate digital solutions into their Channel Islands operations.
