Nautilus EcoCore FCD Secures NVIDIA AI Factory Validation

With a 3.2 MW cooling capacity in N+1 mode, Nautilus Data Technologies has secured a spot on NVIDIA’s DSX Infrastructure Marketplace. The EcoCore Facility Cooling Distribution Unit is the first to achieve Large-Scale CDU validation, positioning it as a primary infrastructure choice for high-density AI GPU deployments.

The certification follows rigorous testing against more than one hundred NVIDIA technical requirements. Performance data from May 2026 highlights the unit’s efficiency, featuring a 2°C approach temperature difference—less than half the 4.8°C reported by competing liquid-to-liquid systems. CEO Rob Pfleging noted that the validation confirms the company’s ability to support both current and future generations of GPU platforms.

Designed for versatility, the EcoCore FCD operates using diverse water sources, including river, sea, and wastewater. The system emphasizes serviceability, allowing for in-place upgrades and integration with Nautilus’s Air Detection Removal System. With a global 15-week delivery window and over 650,000 hours of verified production operation, the technology targets hyperscalers and AI operators needing to scale infrastructure rapidly.
