Evelin Herrera’s EHVM Apps Capital Hits $450 Million Portfolio Value

With over $450 million in active portfolio value and $30 million in closed deals, EHVM Apps Capital has emerged as a dominant force in consumer tech M&A. Founder Evelin Herrera recently finalized back-to-back exits for bootstrapped developers, signaling a shift in how independent app founders navigate the acquisition landscape.

The firm’s recent activity includes the sale of Trimbox, an email management tool, to Mode Mobile, and the acquisition of the flashcard app Noji by DelightRoom’s subsidiary, DelightHub. Both transactions secured upfront cash and earn-outs for the founders without requiring them to remain with the purchasing companies. Herrera credits these outcomes to the underlying unit economics of the apps, noting that these developers achieved high profitability without the influence of venture capital.

EHVM operates by connecting independent developers with a curated network of 125 buyers, including private equity firms and strategic acquirers. By introducing 13 first-time buyers to the market, Herrera is challenging the traditional, insular nature of mobile app acquisitions. As consumer app spending reached $155.8 billion in 2025, the firm is capitalizing on a 31% year-over-year increase in technology deal values. Herrera’s model focuses on providing leverage to founders who have historically navigated the exit process without formal representation.
