Camden National Bank Promotes Josh Nash to Chief Technology Officer

Josh Nash has stepped into the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Camden National Bank, taking the reins from the retiring William Martel. The promotion marks a strategic pivot for the Maine-based institution as it accelerates its transition toward AI-integrated banking and modernized data infrastructure.

Nash, who previously served as Senior Vice President of Technology, Business Intelligence, and Loan Operations, will oversee the bank’s enterprise technology, cybersecurity, and data governance. His tenure has already been defined by a push into cloud migration and automation, efforts that culminated in a 250% year-over-year increase in analytic data product output.

His technical strategy recently gained industry attention at Snowflake Summit 26, where he detailed the bank’s roadmap for moving AI from pilot programs into live production. By utilizing tools like Qlik and Passerelle’s Data Rocket, Nash has focused on building a scalable architecture capable of meeting future AI demands. CEO Simon Griffiths cited Nash’s blend of technical acumen and leadership as the primary driver for the bank’s ongoing digital evolution. A University of Maine alumnus, Nash holds multiple professional certifications, including CISA and PMP, and will now be responsible for scaling these digital capabilities across the bank's 72 locations in Maine and New Hampshire.
