Electrolux Shareholders Convert Over 1.6 Million Class A Shares

A significant shift in corporate voting power took hold at AB Electrolux this July, as shareholders exercised their right to convert 1,662,933 Class A shares into Class B shares. The move triggered a net reduction of 1,496,639.7 votes, altering the internal balance of the company’s equity structure.

The conversion, executed under the provisions of the company’s Articles of Association, leaves the total share count unchanged at 824,070,029. However, the distribution between share classes has shifted, reflecting a strategic move by investors. As of July 31, 2026, the company reports 22,114,658 Class A shares and 801,955,371 Class B shares outstanding.

Following these adjustments, the total voting power in the Stockholm-based appliance giant now stands at 102,310,195.1 votes. The company disclosed these figures in compliance with the Swedish Financial Instruments Trading Act, formalizing the transparency requirements for public market participants.
