Daily gross gaming revenue for the group rose 5% year-on-year to MOP111 million, supported by a 9% surge in average daily visitation across Macau. Despite a slightly lower VIP win rate of 2.6%, the company’s liquidity remains robust at HK$24.7 billion. Occupancy rates reached 93.5% during the period, reflecting strong demand at both the MGM MACAU and MGM COTAI properties.
Strategic expansion remains a priority, highlighted by the recent acquisition of MGM Asia Pacific Limited. This move integrates MGM Hospitality’s operations in Mainland China, adding eight managed hotels and a network of over 1.5 million loyalty program members to the company’s portfolio. CEO Kenneth Feng noted that the acquisition is designed to create operational synergies and bolster the group’s competitive positioning in the region. Looking ahead, MGM China plans to renovate approximately 100 suites at MGM MACAU, following a successful suite conversion project at MGM COTAI earlier this year.
