A survey of 2,000 millennial parents commissioned by Bob Evans reveals that the transition to the school year is increasingly defined by financial and time-based pressures. With 71% of respondents reporting higher costs than previous years and over half struggling to balance competing schedules, the demand for convenience has surged. Jason Roche, vice president at Bob Evans Farms, noted that 66% of parents feel overextended when attempting to prepare nightly dinners, a friction point the brand aims to resolve with its ready-to-heat sides.
JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who is co-founder of Rolling Clover, is promoting a strategy of small, actionable routines to reclaim family time. Her recommendations include leveraging single-serve refrigerated sides for quick pre-practice meals and utilizing shared digital calendars to coordinate household logistics. To further support families, the company is hosting an Instagram sweepstakes through August 26, offering 50 winners prize bundles that include organizational tools and a half-year supply of its refrigerated dinner products.
