The board of directors credits this financial turnaround to improved operational quality and resilience across its primary business pillars. Fosun Pharma, a cornerstone of the group’s health segment, posted a 13.87% rise in net profit during the first quarter, while its non-recurring gain-adjusted earnings climbed by nearly 22%.
Wealth management operations also reported significant gains. Fidelidade, the group’s Portuguese insurance arm, maintained double-digit premium growth throughout the period. Pramerica Fosun Life Insurance reached a milestone by generating RMB 786 million in net profit, surpassing its total earnings for the entire 2025 fiscal year.
Performance in the happiness and manufacturing sectors further bolstered the group’s bottom line. Yuyuan anticipates profit growth of up to 170%, while Hainan Mining’s projected profit of RMB 470 million to RMB 550 million has already eclipsed its 2025 annual performance. Analysts suggest these results stem from a strategic shift toward shedding non-core assets and prioritizing core industrial capabilities, signaling that the conglomerate has moved into a sustained recovery phase.
