Dr. Samuel A. Joseph, Jr., the institute’s founder and current team spine surgeon for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, leads the group with his fifth career selection. His background includes a recent national distinction as one of Newsweek’s Top 150 Spine Doctors. Joining him in the rankings is Dr. Ron Chatterjee, a board-certified specialist in interventional spine and sports medicine who also advises the NFL-NFLPA Joint Pain Management Committee on regenerative therapies.
The roster of honorees extends to the institute’s specialized surgical and neurological staff. Dr. Thuy Nguyen, a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, received recognition for his diagnostic precision in complex neurological conditions. Rounding out the team, Dr. Sean Kelly brings dual fellowship training in adult and pediatric surgery to the practice, focusing on minimally invasive techniques for spinal disorders. According to Dr. Joseph, the repeated recognition underscores a multidisciplinary commitment to tailored, patient-centered treatment across their multiple Tampa Bay locations.
