Colorado Chamber Seeks Nominations for Fifth Annual Manufacturing Contest

Colorado’s manufacturing landscape, which spans over 5,000 firms and employs roughly 149,000 workers, takes center stage as the Chamber invites public submissions for this year's top product. According to Colorado Chamber President and CEO Loren Furman, the initiative aims to honor both the groundbreaking technologies and everyday goods developed within the state’s borders. To qualify, products must be manufactured in a Colorado-based facility, though the parent company need not be headquartered locally. The program excludes made-to-order service items, focusing instead on broader production efforts.

An independent panel will narrow the field to 10 finalists in October, culminating in a November 12 awards banquet where the winner will be crowned. Past recipients include innovative entries like the FarmBox Foods Vertical Hydroponic Farm, which utilizes upcycled shipping containers for high-efficiency agriculture. Participation is free and open to the public, with nominations accepted through the official contest website.
