GPGI Investors Face September Deadline in Securities Fraud Lawsuit

Investors who purchased GPGI, Inc. Class A common stock between November 3, 2025, and May 6, 2026, face a September 14, 2026, deadline to seek lead plaintiff status in a securities fraud class action lawsuit filed in the Southern District of New York.

The litigation, captioned City of Warren Police and Fire Retirement System v. GPGI, Inc., centers on allegations that the company misled shareholders regarding the financial health of its acquisition, Husky Technologies Limited. According to the complaint, GPGI allegedly overstated the value of Husky and failed to disclose that the subsidiary was failing to meet revenue and EBITDA projections. Furthermore, the lawsuit suggests the acquisition was primarily incentivized by fees for Resolute Holdings rather than long-term shareholder value.

Financial disclosures throughout early 2026 triggered significant volatility in GPGI stock. Following a February report by Jehosaphat Research questioning Husky’s valuation, the company’s share price plummeted 16.4% in mid-March after disclosing an EBITDA decline. The stock suffered a sharper 25.9% drop on May 7, 2026, when the firm reported a 40.2% collapse in Husky's quarterly EBITDA and slashed its annual guidance. Investors interested in participating in the class action may contact Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP to discuss recovery options and the lead plaintiff process.
