Kuehne+Nagel Migrates Global Warehouse Operations to Blue Yonder Cloud

Spanning over 1,000 sites in nearly 100 countries, Kuehne+Nagel has begun transitioning its proprietary warehouse management system, KN SwiftLOG, to a cloud-native platform. The initiative, powered by Blue Yonder technology, integrates agentic AI to standardize logistics workflows and accelerate response times across the company’s worldwide supply chain network.

The rollout, which commenced in April, aims to unify disparate warehouse operations into a single, cohesive environment. By moving to a cloud-native architecture, the logistics giant intends to bridge the gap between physical warehouse activities and real-time data insights. Eduardo Razuck, Executive Vice President of Contract Logistics, noted that the shift is designed to ensure consistent execution at scale while allowing the company to adapt more rapidly to shifting customer demands.

Beyond basic management, the platform introduces AI-driven execution intended to automate decision-making and improve operational visibility. This transition supports more accurate network planning and faster mitigation of supply chain disruptions. The first live customer deployment of the upgraded system is scheduled for launch in Asia this July. According to Blue Yonder CEO Duncan Angove, the collaboration centers on the ability to standardize processes globally to maintain speed in an increasingly volatile market.
