Cricket Australia Launches Global Streaming Hub via Eluvio

Cricket Australia has unveiled a direct-to-consumer streaming service, Cricket TV, designed to bring matches and archival content to fans worldwide. Built on Eluvio’s Content Fabric and AI Video Intelligence, the platform is currently in early access, with a full commercial rollout scheduled for later this year.

The platform functions as a unified digital destination, offering live match broadcasts, historical replays, and original documentaries. By utilizing Eluvio’s frame-accurate AI, the organization can process its deep match archives without the latency or complexity of legacy file-copying workflows. During the initial early access phase, the service has already seen engagement from viewers across more than 40 countries.

Dan Allan, Senior Content Manager at Cricket Australia, noted that the partnership aims to increase accessibility for international followers while maintaining the flexibility to evolve the viewing experience. Eluvio CEO Michelle Munson emphasized that the service serves as a blueprint for sports organizations seeking to monetize content through a secure, cost-effective infrastructure. The platform includes integrated features such as subscription management, pay-per-view options, and ad-supported monetization, alongside robust anti-piracy measures like forensic watermarking. Eluvio will demonstrate the technology during the upcoming IBC Show 2026 in Amsterdam.
