Manhattan Hosts Immersive K-Culture Festival This Summer

The Korea Tourism Organization is transforming the Korean Cultural Center New York into a hub of Korean lifestyle and travel through August 22. The "It's Time for K-Culture 2026" festival offers a multi-sensory dive into the nation's aesthetic and entertainment landscape, punctuated by two high-energy activation days this week.

Visitors can engage with these specialized programs on July 16 and July 18, which feature interactive gaming and beauty showcases. The event includes a mini soccer challenge for attendees, alongside a skincare station hosted by Amorepacific, where brands such as Laneige and Innisfree provide demonstrations and samples. Those considering travel to the region can utilize an on-site quiz to define their personal travel style, with a chance to win a round-trip flight to Korea as an incentive for participation.

Beyond the featured dates, the festival maintains a consistent presence in Manhattan through late August. The ongoing programming at the 32nd Street venue includes a PC gaming and snack zone, as well as a series of late-night horror film screenings. The center also plans to host a dedicated fan event for BTS ARMY members from August 1 to August 3, further highlighting the intersection of modern pop culture and traditional tourism promotion.
