This incident follows a separate strike in the al-Shati camp that claimed at least 10 lives. As of Tuesday, Gaza health officials report 8,525 fatalities since October 7, including 3,542 children. UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi condemned the mounting civilian toll, warning that the disregard for international humanitarian law has become the norm, and called for an urgent ceasefire to halt the escalating crisis.
