The new facility, situated near the company's Bessemer manufacturing site, employs 50 workers and reinforces a broader growth strategy that has seen Milo's invest nearly $400 million in domestic infrastructure since 2019. This capital deployment includes major greenfield projects in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Spartanburg, South Carolina, alongside a significant expansion of the original Bessemer plant. Together, these initiatives have added more than 500 full-time roles to the company's payroll.
CEO Tricia Wallwork noted that the rapid expansion reflects a commitment to maintaining logistical efficiency as the brand captures more market share. Beyond physical capacity, the company is prioritizing job stability by offering comprehensive benefits, including full health insurance coverage and retirement matching, to its workforce. As a certified women-owned business, Milo's continues to emphasize its 80-year history while modernizing its cold-chain operations to support demand across 62,000 retail locations nationwide.
