CEO John Newell cited Milord’s extensive background in building high-performing teams as a primary driver for the hire. Milord brings over three decades of sector experience to the role, having initially cut her teeth as an agency owner in the Chicago suburbs before ascending to national leadership positions. Recognized for her influence in the field, Milord earned a place on the 2024 "Top 50 Women Leaders of Insurance" list and was named "Power Broker of the Year" in 2021. At World, she will oversee the organization’s efforts to modernize its advisory services and improve risk management outcomes for small and medium-sized business clients across the U.S. and the U.K.
