The brand’s first New York outpost opened its doors on June 29 at 3260 Boston Road in the Bronx. The 2,000-square-foot site, which includes a drive-thru and limited indoor seating, saw immediate foot traffic during its soft opening. A second, larger location is slated for the Upper East Side at 1267 First Avenue later this season, featuring 2,800 square feet of space, self-service kiosks, and a modern farmhouse design.
CEO Bernard Acoca described the move as a major milestone for the company’s Northeast strategy. Founded in 1990 in Statesboro, Georgia, Zaxbys has scaled to over 1,000 locations across 24 states. To support the New York launch, the company plans a series of promotional events throughout the summer, aiming to introduce its Southern-style menu to the competitive local market.
