The new offering leverages Hystax Acura technology, allowing customers to replicate workloads at either the hypervisor or workload level. This architecture shifts the focus from matching infrastructure stacks to protecting the data itself. Justin Fox, senior vice president of product and operations at ValorC3, noted that the service restores infrastructure control to the user, bypassing the traditional constraints that force VMware users to recover exclusively on VMware.
The service targets recovery point objectives near 15 minutes, with near-zero replication capabilities for critical workloads. ValorC3 utilizes its data centers in Boise, Idaho, and St. George, Utah, to provide geographical separation across distinct fault zones. While the provider monitors the platform, customers retain management of testing and failover execution through a self-service portal. This co-managed approach addresses a persistent industry gap, where nearly 70% of ransomware victims struggle to fully restore data despite high confidence in their recovery capabilities.
