Rothweiler, a founder of the German branch, oversaw its expansion into a prominent Catholic media organization based in Cologne. He will remain with the network in the role of Program Director, a move designed to preserve his long-standing expertise. Michael P. Warsaw, CEO of EWTN Global Catholic Network, credited Rothweiler’s perseverance for the network's established presence in the region.
Dr. Theuke steps into the role with an extensive background in media leadership. Her mandate includes strengthening programming and expanding outreach to newer audiences. According to Andreas Thonhauser, EWTN’s Vice President and Chief Global Officer, the transition is intended to balance institutional stability with fresh strategic growth. Theuke aims to focus on digital engagement and producing content that resonates with a younger generation, building upon the foundation established during the network’s 26-year history in the country.
