Parabellum Investments Acquires Data Management Specialist Crux Informatics

The acquisition integrates Crux’s core offerings—the Sphere managed data service and the ArrayX agentic pipeline platform—into Parabellum’s portfolio. By automating complex tasks such as schema mapping, Crux allows institutions to shift resources away from infrastructure maintenance toward generating market insights. The firm currently manages thousands of production pipelines for major providers including Morningstar, Moody’s Analytics, and MSCI.

Rami Cassis, Principal of Parabellum, identified Crux as a foundational component for navigating modern data landscapes, signaling a commitment to further investment in the company’s evolution. For Crux, the partnership provides the necessary support to accelerate the development of AI-native features, specifically self-healing pipelines designed for rapid alpha capture. Crux CEO Will Freiberg stated that the move aligns with the company’s mission to provide the fastest path from raw data to actionable intelligence.

While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the move underscores the growing demand for automated, resilient data pipelines in financial services. D.A. The integration promises to expand the reach of Crux’s existing deep-cloud connectivity with partners like Google Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake.
