The certification process involved a comprehensive survey of associates at Sage Park Guadalupe, focusing on metrics such as workplace camaraderie, professional growth opportunities, and the overall impact of their caregiving roles. This milestone follows the community’s transition to Watercrest management in August 2025, which included a rebranding from its former identity as Juniper Village at the Guadalupe Riverfront.
Marc Vorkapich, CEO of Watercrest Senior Living Group, attributes this consistency to a corporate focus on servant leadership and the Principles of Service. By prioritizing staff support, the organization aims to improve the quality of care for residents. Jessica Desjarlais, Director of Associate Experience, noted that these internal investments are designed to create a positive environment for both staff and families. The certification extends across the entire Watercrest umbrella, which currently operates multiple communities throughout the Southeast and Texas, including locations in Austin and San Antonio.
