The Livonia site is designed to offer a condensed shopping experience, focusing on essential groceries, fresh produce, and full-service departments including meat, seafood, and a pharmacy. The layout emphasizes ease of navigation, catering to residents seeking quick trips for weekly staples. Customers will have access to digital tools such as mPerks, Shop & Scan, and home delivery services, alongside exclusive private labels like Frederik’s by Meijer and True Goodness.
Maureen Mitchell, Vice President of the East Michigan Region, noted that the store aims to provide convenience and value directly within the community. This launch follows the recent opening of a 47,000-square-foot location in Rochester Hills this past May. As the retailer continues to grow this specific format, it is currently hiring for various hourly, part-time, and full-time positions at the Livonia site, with applications available through the company's career portal.
