USPS Unveils 2026 Stamp Collection Featuring Fentanyl Awareness and Holidays

The 2026 collection spans diverse cultural and historical subjects. Among the notable additions is the "Know the Facts About Fentanyl" semipostal stamp, designed to support research and recovery initiatives, with proceeds directed to the National Institute on Drug Abuse. In tandem, the service is honoring the 150th anniversary of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy with a design featuring the USCGC Eagle and the USCGC Bertholf.

Holiday-themed issues remain a staple of the program. This year's offerings include "Christmas Cookies," a "Madonna and Child" traditional stamp featuring a 16th-century Netherlandish painting, and a new Hanukkah design focused on the dreidel. The Diwali stamp, scheduled for October, showcases a vibrant rangoli pattern, while the Kwanzaa issue incorporates symbols of unity and gifting. For those sending mail globally, a winter-themed wreath stamp will join the catalog. The rollout begins August 7 in Linthicum Heights, MD, with the Diagonal U.S. Flag stamped envelope, followed by a series of regional release ceremonies nationwide throughout the fall.
