The StanbyME 2 Max, which recently earned a CES 2026 Innovation Award, represents the largest iteration in LG’s portable lineup. It features a built-in battery capable of 4.5 hours of playback, supported by an alpha 8 AI Processor Gen3 that handles real-time adjustments for picture and sound. Users can detach the screen from its primary floor stand, utilizing an included one-click mount for tabletop use or connecting external devices via HDMI and USB-C ports.
Beyond traditional streaming, the device runs on LG’s webOS platform, providing access to over 400 free channels and the new LG Gallery+ art service. The touchscreen interface facilitates interactive features like digital drawing, a suite of built-in games, and ambient display modes. Far-field voice recognition rounds out the hardware, allowing for hands-free control across a room. Pre-orders are currently open through LG’s official website.
