To ensure industrial-grade output on a desktop footprint, xTool introduced a Pixel-Scan vision system that uses laser altimetry and CIS scanning to eliminate manual calibration. The machine also features a jigless workflow, allowing for automated object recognition and alignment.
Software integration plays a critical role in the printer's versatility. The xTool Studio interface includes AI-driven contour recognition to handle irregular shapes and a 3D relief generator for textured surfaces. Maintenance concerns are addressed through the SmartCycle 2.0 system, which automates cleaning routines to prevent printhead clogging during idle periods. The unit is supported by GREENGUARD-certified inks and a built-in filtration system, making it suitable for home studio environments.
Starting June 29, customers can secure units via a $50 deposit. The O1 is available in three configurations: the base UV Edition at $1,699, the Dual-Head UV Edition at $2,699, and the hybrid UV + Fabric Edition at $2,799. These early-bird prices represent significant discounts from the eventual retail costs, with final shipments and the global rollout slated for July 15.
