Monster Energy Athletes Dominate X Games Sacramento Day Two

A relentless display of technical progression defined the second day of X Games Sacramento 2026, as Monster Energy riders secured nine medals across six events at Cal Expo. From debut podiums to historic gold-medal defenses, the team maintained a dominant presence throughout the Saturday competition schedule.

The day was anchored by standout performances from veteran and rising stars alike. Ryan Williams led the charge in the Dave Mirra BMX Park Best Trick, clinching gold with a precise 540 frontflip flair on the Tower Bridge vert wall. In the Women’s Skateboard Vert Best Trick, Arisa Trew defended her title with a signature switch McTwist. Her victory marks her tenth career gold, tying the record for the most gold medals held by a woman in X Games history.

BMX Dirt saw a fierce internal battle as Brady Baker claimed gold with a 93.33-point performance, narrowly edging out teammate Williams. On the street course, Nyjah Huston added to his storied career with a silver medal, executing a flawless second run that netted 89.66 points. Meanwhile, 15-year-old Spanish rookie Egoitz Bijueska made an immediate impact in his debut, taking silver in Men’s Skateboard Park, while Tom Schaar rounded out the podium with bronze. The event continues through Sunday as part of the inaugural MoonPay X Games League summer season.
