Within 48 hours of its June 25, 2026, debut, the campaign secured over $200,000 from more than 300 backers, exceeding its initial goal by 2,339%. Developed by DESLOC—a brand backed by 17 years of engineering experience from parent company DESMAN—the V150 Plus seeks to address the primary consumer frustration of battery maintenance. By utilizing ambient light to replenish its charge, the lock represents a shift toward more sustainable, low-maintenance home access.
Beyond its power capabilities, the V150 Plus incorporates 3D facial recognition with liveness detection and a curved-touch fingerprint sensor that identifies users in 0.15 seconds. The hardware, which has received recognition including the MUSE Design Award, connects directly to Wi-Fi without the need for an external hub, integrating with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Early backers can currently secure the unit for $199, half the anticipated retail price, with additional incentives available for the first 500 participants.
