26Health Deploys Mobile Unit for Free HIV Testing in Orlando

A forty-foot mobile health unit will park at an Orlando Walmart Supercenter on June 27, 2026, to offer rapid, confidential HIV screenings. The initiative, timed for National HIV Testing Day, aims to eliminate common barriers to healthcare access by providing on-site testing and prevention counseling without the need for appointments.

The clinic will operate from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3101 W. Princeton Street, providing immediate results and educational resources regarding PrEP and sexual health. According to 26Health President and CEO Latrice Stewart, the effort is designed to foster a stigma-free environment where knowing one’s status is treated as a fundamental act of self-care.

Beyond the one-day community event, 26Health continues to offer STI testing and sexual health services year-round at its downtown Orlando facility. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Luisa Mena emphasized that streamlining access to these diagnostic tools remains a critical factor in improving long-term health outcomes for the region. Those seeking further information or ongoing support can visit the organization's website or contact their communications office directly.
