With a staff of over 60, the firm brings deep expertise in coastal property, construction, and specialized commercial sectors. For Higginbotham CEO Rusty Reid, the acquisition avoids a cautious entry, opting instead to scale immediately by partnering with a firm that maintains strong community ties.

Turbeville sought the merger to navigate a competitive landscape dominated by national players. The decision rested on Higginbotham’s employee-ownership model, which offers a long-term path for staff to participate in value creation. Clients will retain their existing local teams while gaining access to expanded resources, including Higginbotham’s Day Two Services®, claims advocacy, and specialized support in high-stakes fields like aviation and trucking.
