Under the new terms, Brightstar will overhaul the lottery’s central system and deploy 2,200 SignaLink digital signage units to manage real-time jackpot updates and retailer-specific messaging. The hardware upgrade also includes the installation of 1,000 Retailer Pro S2 terminals, which feature enhanced processors designed to accelerate transaction times and support modular, multi-display configurations for players.
Oregon Lottery Director Mike Wells noted that the collaboration, which spans over four decades, remains vital to maintaining a responsive retail ecosystem. Scott Gunn, Brightstar’s Chief Operating Officer for North America, emphasized that the extension reinforces the company's commitment to delivering long-term value for Oregon retailers and the communities they serve.
