The new lineup features two distinct configurations. The HiBattery 4020 X acts as a hybrid model, connecting directly to photovoltaic modules with support for up to 4,000 W input across four independent MPPT channels. Complementing this is the HiBattery 4020 AC, a retrofit solution designed to integrate storage capabilities into existing solar installations. Both systems utilize stackable, cable-free modules that allow users to scale capacity from 4 kWh to 16 kWh.
Safety and efficiency remain the technical pillars of the series. The hardware incorporates automotive-grade LiFePO4 cells, aerosol fire suppression systems, and IP66-rated protection. These features earned the product line the EUPD Innovation Award, presented during the event by EUPD Research CEO Markus A.W. Hoehner. Beyond hardware, the system leverages an AI-integrated dashboard, the Energy Ledger, to optimize power consumption based on fluctuating dynamic tariffs.
During the Munich event, Hoymiles solidified its regional footprint by formalizing an "Unbreakable Alliance" with 25 key European clients. Company leadership, including CEO Dr. Yang Bo and Vice President Guy Rong, emphasized that this rollout represents a pivot toward building a complete energy ecosystem. With the support of over 180 industry stakeholders, including distributors like Tepto and Elektramat, the company is positioning the 4020 series to capture a larger share of Europe’s decentralized energy market.
