CARFAX Secures Top Workplace Honors in Virginia and Missouri Hubs

Employees in Centreville and St. Louis have once again ranked CARFAX among the best places to work, marking the company’s 12th consecutive year of recognition in the Washington, D.C. area and its fifth straight year of similar honors in Missouri, based on anonymous feedback regarding culture and leadership.

The accolades, facilitated by the Energage Workplace Survey, highlight a consistent internal focus on employee satisfaction and professional growth. For Scott Fredericks, President of CARFAX, the awards represent the collective effort of a team committed to collaborative problem-solving. This year marks a transition for the Washington-area program, as WTOP assumed the administration of the survey following more than a decade under The Washington Post.

Long-tenured staff members point to a culture that balances professional development with personal support. Jamie Gladney, a Senior Manager with 25 years at the firm, describes the environment as a mindset rather than a corporate label, while Director of Product Management Melissa Paloti emphasizes the ability to balance career demands with parenting. As the company prepares to relocate its headquarters to a new facility at Reston Station, management aims to leverage the transit-oriented development to further cultivate the teamwork and innovation that underpin these recurring workplace awards.
