The software update targets six primary areas of the M3 platform, aiming to streamline daily tasks without altering established testing workflows. Key technical changes include the introduction of MQTT communication protocols, which provide a more scalable framework for connecting M3 software to testing hardware. Data management also sees significant changes, with new preview features for exports and expanded file formatting options tailored to meet enterprise reporting standards.
Operational diagnostics have been bolstered through new bench-state monitoring tools, designed to help operators identify and resolve system issues with greater speed. Workflow automation features, such as improved serial number validation and configurable default selections, are intended to reduce manual input errors. According to CEO Dave Corey, the update reinforces the platform’s reliability while maintaining the familiar interface that existing utility clients depend on. The company expects to begin the rollout of M3 Version 27-Mako later this year.
