Davidson Homes Expands Houston Portfolio with Robins Landing Partnership

As Houston remains a top priority for national builders, Davidson Homes is scaling its regional footprint through a mix of new residential developments and a high-profile collaboration with Habitat for Humanity at the Robins Landing community, aiming to blend market-rate construction with expanded access to stable homeownership.

The builder’s strategy centers on the Robins Landing project, a multifaceted development positioned near the 610 Loop and I-69. Beyond standard housing, the site integrates a 2.2-acre urban farm, a health clinic, and a library branch to support long-term resident stability. CEO Brandon Jones noted that the firm prioritizes locations that offer tangible value, aligning their growth with the city's broader push for accessible housing infrastructure.

Beyond this partnership, the Alabama-based company is active in markets ranging from Katy and Conroe to Texas City, with price points spanning the $200,000 to $500,000 range. These projects emphasize open-concept floor plans, such as the five-bedroom Brazos model, to cater to shifting buyer preferences in a city now exceeding 2.3 million residents. The company plans to showcase its latest progress at a grand opening event on June 27, marking another step in their effort to capture a larger share of the competitive Texas housing market.
