Founded in 2009 by Dr. George Kramer and Chris Meador, Arcos developed the Burn Navigator and BloodNav platforms to assist clinicians in high-stakes medical environments. BloodNav functions as a performance-improvement tool for Massive Transfusion Protocols, providing real-time data tracking and electronic medical record integration. By pairing this software with the Belmont Rapid Infuser, the company aims to streamline documentation and improve accuracy during emergency resuscitation procedures.

Burn Navigator, introduced in 2013, has become a standard support tool for managing adult and pediatric patients with severe burns. Belmont CEO Brian Larkin stated that the acquisition serves as a key milestone in the company’s growth strategy. For Arcos, the transition offers a path to scale its technology within broader trauma settings. The integration unites the Belmont Rapid Infuser’s hardware capabilities with the software-driven process oversight developed by the Arcos team.
