Fritz Lanman, CEO and co-founder of Playlist, cited Glazer’s decade-long tenure at Palantir as a primary driver for the decision. Lanman noted that Glazer’s expertise in scaling complex technology businesses and managing capital discipline aligns with the company’s current growth trajectory. Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer, Playlist’s chairman, emphasized that the addition signals the company’s ambition to integrate data and technology into the fitness sector on a global scale.
Glazer, who has served as Palantir’s CFO since 2020, pointed to the company’s rare position of being both cash-flow positive and high-growth as a key reason for joining the board. Before his time at Palantir, Glazer practiced as a corporate securities attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he advised on IPOs and mergers. Playlist currently oversees a portfolio of platforms, including Mindbody, ClassPass, Booker, and Kite, aiming to unify these services under a single AI-driven ecosystem.
