The partnership focuses on automating high-volume legal tasks that traditionally drain internal resources. Legora, an operating system designed for research, drafting, and contract review, functions alongside Axiom’s network of 14,000 legal professionals. According to Axiom CEO David McVeigh, the collaboration is designed to move beyond theoretical AI benefits toward measurable business impacts.
Evidence of this model’s efficacy appears in recent high-stakes engagements. A global manufacturer utilized the combined platform to review 16,000 legacy agreements, completing the project in five weeks—a 90% reduction in time compared to manual review—while saving $477,000. Similarly, a real estate manager trimmed its staffing needs for a 2,000-lease review from five lawyers to one, cutting costs by over half a million dollars.
Max Junestrand, CEO of Legora, notes that the integration addresses the mounting pressure on in-house teams to handle increased workloads without expanding headcount. Chris Frickland, Axiom’s Vice President of AI Solutions, emphasizes that the platform’s success stems from disciplined oversight, where experienced lawyers direct the AI to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment. With over 100,000 legal professionals currently using Legora, the companies are positioning this hybrid approach as a standard for contract remediation, M&A due diligence, and regulatory responses.
