Telit Cinterion to Demonstrate Autonomous Factory AI at Automate 2026

Visitors to Chicago’s Automate 2026 event will encounter a live demonstration of autonomous industrial decision-making, as deviceWISE showcases its latest intelligence suite. The platform, which bridges operational technology and enterprise systems, aims to replace manual oversight with agentic AI capable of real-time fault detection and process recovery.

The demonstration at Booth 4233 centers on the suite’s two primary components: Fault Detection and Workstation Sentinel. These tools monitor production lines to cross-reference activity against standard operating procedures, flagging discrepancies such as improper equipment feeds or incorrect parts. By integrating with NVIDIA’s edge AI technologies, the system moves beyond simple data collection, allowing machinery to diagnose its own faults and suggest corrective actions without human intervention.

Linir Zamir, Ph.D., who leads the AI engineering team at Telit Cinterion, will expand on this architecture during a session titled "Agentic AI on the Edge for IIoT" on June 24. Zamir plans to address how localized, agent-based processing reduces latency and minimizes cloud dependency in industrial environments. According to Martin Krona, president of solutions and services at Telit Cinterion, the shift toward independent local decision-making is essential for building more resilient manufacturing operations. The showcase will take place from June 22 to 25, highlighting the company’s push to enable complex industrial orchestration without the need for extensive custom coding.
