His resume includes a stint as CEO of Bosch Power Tools and senior leadership roles at Rockwell Automation, ABB, and Bosch Rexroth. The company confirmed that Heim will assist in the transition to ensure continuity for employees and partners.
Heim’s departure follows the successful consolidation of Carrier’s residential and commercial HVAC operations in Europe. CEO David Gitlin credited Heim for steering the company through the Viessmann integration, a process that redefined the firm’s regional market position. Donato is now tasked with scaling that foundation as the company enters its next phase of growth.
