The alliance combines PortCity’s operational footprint in port management, warehousing, and transload services with ResultStack’s technical expertise in machine learning and real-time platform engineering. By integrating these systems, the companies intend to address long-standing inefficiencies in cargo coordination where margins are often dictated by hourly performance. ResultStack, which has previously managed digital infrastructure for large-scale enterprise brands since 2014, will shift its focus to applying large language models and predictive analytics to the physical constraints of port logistics.
Ben Farmer, CEO of ResultStack, noted that the partnership targets environments where operational complexity is high, allowing machine learning to provide measurable value. Eric Howell, CEO of PortCity, stated the collaboration is designed to eliminate waste within the logistics marketplace and accelerate the company’s growth trajectory. Founded in 2001, PortCity maintains a network focused on drayage and brokerage, while ResultStack operates out of hubs in Knoxville, Dallas, and Savannah to deliver mission-critical software solutions.
