Dialogica Launches Voice-First AI to Automate Legal Administrative Tasks

Legal tech startup Dialogica emerged from stealth on June 15, 2026, introducing a voice-first platform designed to handle the repetitive, non-billable administrative work that consumes a lawyer’s day. By integrating directly into existing firm systems, the tool aims to reclaim lost hours without compromising client confidentiality or data security.

The platform, known as Dia, targets the "first mile" of legal practice—the high-friction zone where calendaring, timekeeping, and precedent searching often stall productivity. Unlike current AI tools that focus on drafting complex legal documents, Dialogica functions as a horizontal layer that works alongside established infrastructure. This approach allows sensitive firm data to remain local, addressing the primary privacy concerns that have historically hindered the adoption of generative AI in large law firms.

Co-founders Austin Worrell and Joshua Goodman developed the system to prevent lawyers from being forced into new workflows, instead creating a tool that adapts to current operations. The company is backed by Ground Up Ventures and a roster of industry veterans, including former Thomson Reuters CEO Tom Glocer and Scott Joachim, who joins as president after decades at firms like Paul Hastings and Fenwick and West. Investors highlight that while foundational AI models are becoming commodities, platforms that specifically optimize the non-billable "clutter" of daily practice currently represent a significant, untapped opportunity in the legal sector.
