Leopard Imaging to Debut AI Perception Suite at Automate 2026

From June 22 to 25, Leopard Imaging will transform Booth #10046 at Chicago’s McCormick Place into a laboratory of machine perception. The company plans to showcase a series of high-performance imaging platforms, ranging from compact embedded modules to complex, multi-camera 360-degree vision systems tailored for the next generation of industrial robotics.

The exhibit highlights a shift toward high-speed depth processing and synchronized environment mapping. Central to the display is the ASTRO stereo camera, which pairs dual 5.1MP global shutter sensors with FPGA processing to deliver 10GigE connectivity. Alongside this, the company will demonstrate its high-resolution platform utilizing Sony’s 25MP IMX530 sensor, integrated with NVIDIA Jetson Thor hardware for precision industrial inspection and logistics automation.

Beyond high-resolution imaging, Leopard Imaging is focusing on specialized sensor fusion. The Sirius Plus system integrates onsemi iToF technology with global shutter RGB sensors to provide real-time spatial awareness. For mobile and space-constrained environments, the company will also display its Hummingbird series, a line of ultra-compact MIPI modules designed for wearable devices and mobile robotics. These demonstrations emphasize a broader industry trend: the integration of low-latency, high-synchronization vision systems capable of operating in challenging, unpredictable environments.
