The system simplifies plant design by requiring only three headers—feed, permeate, and reject—which significantly reduces the volume of piping and instrumentation typically needed for high-flow water treatment. By utilizing railing-mounted metallic rollers, the design allows for the individual removal of stacks, streamlining maintenance while reducing the risk of installation errors common in manual, onsite assembly.
Sugata Das, Director of Manufacturing & Operations at QUA, noted that the system is designed to meet the rigorous demands of sectors like semiconductor manufacturing, power generation, and data centers. The technology has already seen implementation at a major automotive manufacturing facility in India, where it supports critical high-purity process water requirements. This latest iteration builds upon the company's existing FEDI GIGA platform, which currently serves projects ranging from nuclear power plants to green hydrogen production facilities globally.
