Wolfbox Targets Off-Road Market with HyperFlow 60D Tire Inflator

For drivers navigating rocky trails or sandy dunes, the ritual of airing down tires for traction often ends in a tedious wait at the trailhead. Wolfbox looks to eliminate that bottleneck with the HyperFlow 60D, a portable dual-cylinder inflator designed to handle massive tires without forcing a cooling break.

The device centers on a 60mm bore dual-cylinder system capable of pushing 5 CFM at 40 PSI. Unlike standard portable pumps that require frequent pauses to prevent overheating, this unit boasts a 100% duty cycle, meaning it can run for an hour straight at 75°F. Wolfbox engineers achieved this through an architecture featuring dual-sided fan intakes and an open cooling channel, paired with internal components like anodized aluminum cylinders and PTFE copper powder piston rings.

Designed specifically for 33 to 40-inch tires found on overlanding rigs and RVs, the inflator can bring a 37-inch tire from 10 to 40 PSI in roughly three minutes. The system includes an auto-shutoff feature that halts inflation once a preset pressure is reached, accurate to within ±2 PSI. For those managing larger convoys or vehicles with long wheelbases, the company plans to release a four-way hose kit that will enable simultaneous inflation or deflation for all four tires in ten minutes.

Currently retailing for $369.99, the unit is available at a launch price of $329 through Amazon and the manufacturer's website. The package connects directly to a vehicle battery and utilizes a standard 1/4-inch NPT connector, ensuring compatibility with existing aftermarket multi-tire inflation setups.
