The partnership aims to bridge the gap between daytime activity and nighttime recovery by leveraging Skechers' brand recognition alongside Serta's manufacturing expertise. According to Dominick Azevedo, Chief Sales Officer of Serta Simmons Bedding, the collaboration offers retailers an immediate path to consumer demand by importing the comfort reputation Skechers has cultivated in the footwear industry. The new mattresses will be positioned at accessible price points, with Queen models ranging from $699 to $1,399.
Technologically, the line translates three core footwear innovations into mattress design: CozyFit for body-conforming support, Max Cushioning for pressure relief, and Arch Fit for ergonomic stability. Steve Mandel, Vice President of Global Brand Licensing at Skechers, noted that the move is a natural evolution for the brand, utilizing Serta’s established retail footprint to scale their comfort philosophy. The collection will be showcased at the Las Vegas market, with a national retail rollout planned shortly after.
