A 16 percent median annualized return on investment has propelled the Rutgers Business School Full-Time MBA into the national spotlight. According to the latest Bloomberg Businessweek rankings, the program now sits at No. 7 overall among 68 top-tier institutions and secures the No. 5 spot among public universities in the country.

Graduates from the Newark-based program report a 10-year net return of $679,000, placing the institution ahead of prestigious competitors like the University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Dean Lei Lei attributed this financial performance to a curriculum that balances rigorous academic standards with the practical demands of a shifting global market.

For alumni like Marsha Fils, who graduated in 2022 and now serves as a lead people analyst at Google, the degree provided more than just a salary boost. Fils noted a 104 percent increase in her compensation following the completion of the 45-credit program. She credits the school's focus on business acumen and organizational strategy for her ability to pivot toward high-growth sectors like artificial intelligence. The school continues to emphasize these technical integrations, maintaining its status as a flagship institution for students seeking both intellectual growth and measurable career advancement.
